Between September 2022 - July 2023 I attended a series of process-led workshops facilitated by Becky Lyon and Adam Moore as part of Transformative Futures. The year was honoured by a collaborative zine, and public opening and weekend takeover of the gallery space at Camden Arts Centre. The celebration included interactive installations, sensory story telling, satsuma ceramics, and musical memories!
Whilst helping to curate and organise the takeover, several collective members and I faciliatated ‘Pause Points: The Art of Rest’. In a community-built reflective space that grew over the weekend, participants were invited to creatively respond to prompts surrounding the theme of radical rest.
Transformative Futures is a series of free artist-led workshops for people aged 15-25 that offers an opportunity to learn new skills and approaches to art-making. You can learn more about this year’s programme at Camden Arts Centre here.
