s.o.w.n. (sounds of women and non-binary artists)
Co-curated with artist and musician, Lora, s.o.w.n. was a creative event of musical performances and
collaborative art-making. The evening encouraged deep listening, honest connection, and playful expression,
whilst creating a safe space where marginalized genders were celebrated. After hearing music from Chevelle,
Eva + Niamh, Taj, and Lora, we invited the audience to express their experiences of the night using a small piece of
felt and pinning their creation to a larger piece of fabric. The outcome contained the energy of s.o.w.n. and honored
everyone that came.
